Magic of Lights
This Raleigh Christmas lights drive-through display entertains millions of visitors during the holiday season at venues around the country. Magic of Lights visits North Carolina for the first time this year to delight families with a mile-long drive-through holiday light display. Weave through multiple LED and digital animation displays, including the Prehistoric Dinosaurs, the 12 Days of Christmas, the Night Before Christmas, the Blizzard Tunnel, and Winter Wonderland.
The Magic of Lights will run from November 18th to December 20th at Coastal Credit Union Music Park, located at Walnut Creek. Snuggle up with your loved ones and stay warm while you enjoy the dazzling display in the comfort of a vehicle.
Nights of Lights
The only downtown Raleigh Christmas lights drive-through experience, Nights of Lights takes place in Dorothea Dix Park most nights between Thanksgiving and Christmas Eve. The 1.3-mile route meanders through the park. Visitors delight at illuminated trees, art installations, and holiday scenes set against the backdrop of the park’s rolling hills.
Now in its third year, Night of Lights is one of the most beloved holiday light extravaganzas in Raleigh, NC. The family-friendly attraction features five themed sections, including a 25-foot tall gingerbread house, Wild Lights with a 30-foot dinosaur, Winter Wonderland, Toyland, and North Pole Neon. You’ll also ride through a 250-foot lighted tunnel themed to Santa’s Workshop featuring Mr. and Mrs. Clause.
Sponsored by the City of Raleigh and WRAL/Capitol Broadcasting, Nights of Lights also hosts several activities to enjoy after your drive-through. Igloo rentals and a holiday outpost where you can meet Santa and enjoy exclusive photo opportunities and snacks top the list of activities.
Lights on the Neuse
Enjoy one of the Triangle Region’s most attended holiday light displays by driving to Boyette Family Farms in Clayton. A ticket to this extravaganza includes a 30-minute hayride through a mile-long Christmas light display and photo opportunities with Santa’s sleigh.
